(UK1) Phased Disassembler Array (PDA)
The fundamental design is to take in any material, render down to base molecules, and conversely; build up any item from a stockpile of raw material.
The Phased Disassembler Array (PDA) is a mechanism that has undergone significant overhaul in the centuries since the first rendition was fitted to HMS [[Ark Royal]]
Mechanically; it does so through a complex mix of Laser and Gravimetric manipulation to carefully sift material down to base components.
Newer versions of it can even carefully chisel away molecular bonds, allowing them to create molecules from raw atoms and vice-versa.
Next to the powerplan, this is the single most important part of any UK military vessel; This is the lynchpin of UK technology, allowing for the rapid production of all supplies needed for an entire system, all the way through creation of exotic hulls for new Military Vessel: The PDA is the single most important creation since Ark Royal was first conceived.
Just about every UK Military vessel above a Frigate has a PDA aboard, allowing them to run for Years without resupply, as they can in-situ refine materials, create spare parts, food, ammunition and oxygen, most being small units to lower the risks of them being damaged in combat, at the cost of being unable to fabricate anything particularly large.
The mechanisms are similarly fragile, however, meaning each PDA is carefully maintained as poor calibration can lead to the systems destroying themselves with ease, resulting in a refit of each module.
[[Peracekeepr]] maintains all Civilian Accessible versions, ensuring that nobody exceeds their given Resource Unit Allocations, and that nothing is being created that Civilians shouldn't have access to (Firearms, explosives, etc.)
The largest renditions are fitted aboard Super-Capital class vessels such as HMS [[Ark Royal]], HMS [[HMSS Poseidon ]] and HMS [[HMSS Prometheus ]], giving these colossal vessels the ability to churn out entire fleets in a matter of weeks.
