(Sash is Dumb) I broke my glasses. Why am I typing a Blog Post about it?

I don't know. And I don't want to know, either. Why are you even reading this post, don't you have something better to do than read my retarded blog? I have no idea what to think about that. Maybe you want to read about what I actually did to my glasses, or how this scenario came about, no?

Well, even if you don't want to know (and I find that somewhat unlikely as it was indeed you that clicked on this blog post, indicating at least some basic interest in the topic stated in the title) I am going to type about what happened here, regardless. So here it is, prepare yourself for the adventure of your life time.

The lenses kept falling out of my new glasses so I got mad with them and used a hot-glue gun (I have said many times Sash should not be trusted with the responsibility of owning one of these) to glue the lenses back into place. It worked, and they stayed in! But, uh, the glue stinks and it looks ridiculous so I wanted to reverse what I had just done. So I used a 550*C heat gun to melt the glue (see previous point about equipment that Sash should not be trusted with the responsibility of ownership) and attempted to remove them again. Instead, I scratched up the lenses in my metal clamp (putting sensitive optics into a metal clamp is a fantastic idea, 11/10, would do it again) and then became... somewhat frustrated, with what had just transpired.

Okay, frustrated is an understatement. I then proceeded to throw the lenses at my wall and the frame down the stairs, towards the wall with as much force as my primitive ape-like arms could provide. The frame is now bent out of shape and the lenses are both scratched - and missing in the clutter behind my workbench - and I cannot see.

I am blind and I Cannot See.

Actually, it is more like my vision quality is significantly reduced, but not to the point of actually crossing the threshold into what I would consider 'blindness'. Actually, the severity of the reduction in quality is potentially not even what I would consider 'significant', but it is sufficient to cause my eyes to send nerve impulses to my brain along with the optical data, with such additional impulses transmitting what I experience as Eye Strain.

Eye Strain.

Eyestrain.

Icetrain

Ice Train.

FROZEN LOCOMOTIVE!

They are cool.
